They are selling their products only on Amazon, however, all of their products have hundreds of positive reviews and that was already a great sign that their products are of the highest quality, therefore I decided to test Cocoda tripod and see how it meets all my needs.

1. Why did I choose this tripod?

First of all, the Cocoda tripod has a very competitive price, and yet it has all the features I needed. I currently record videos with my cell phone for my YouTube channel, and it's really great.

The remote control allows me to take screenshots and record video anywhere I want, which is a great advantage because I don't have to make as many cuts when editing.

In addition, I don't have to get up and press the start recording button, I used to do this before and many times the phone's focus and position moved, but it's much easier now thanks to the remote control.

Other features that attracted my interest were the weight and portability, because I shoot a lot of videos outside of my house and therefore I needed something really light and easy to carry around. The Cocoda tripod's dimensions are 1.42 m., but it's barely the size of my forearm and hand when folded, which makes it very easy to carry around.

2. How do I plan to use Cocoda tripod?

I use the Cocoda tripod mostly to record videos for my Youtube channel. I record these videos with my cell phone and then edit them with a very simple program using my phone. I really don’t want to waste too much time on editing, heavy equipment, and professional cameras, so I chose this more minimalist option, and it works amazingly well.

I also use the tripod to shoot video with my Sony action camera (just like the Go Pro) thanks to the universal action camera mount which this tripod has.

And last but not least, I am also a piano enthusiast. And I am using the tripod with my tablet to be able to view sheet music online. I didn't know that it could be used like this before I bought the tripod, but then I saw that it also has the tablet support, so I am also using it this way.

3. How to use the tripod and description about the main features

The Cocoda tripod is very simple and intuitive to use. I will explain how to use it.

First of all, you should know that the tripod is telescopic. It has a three-feet base with anti-slip material. On top of the feet, there is a wheel that we have to loosen to extend the tripod.

Then, we just have to expand the tripod through its three adjustable segments according to our needs. Once the adjustments mentioned above have been made, we have two options:

1. To use the universal support mainly for photo cameras or action cameras,
2. Attache the cell phone holder to the same support (it has two options, one in horizontal mode and another in vertical mode)

*The last section of the tripod is a head that can rotate 360º.

And finally, connect the remote control to our pone via Bluetooth connection, to start recording or taking pictures remotely – this is very convenient.

4. To whom is this product suitable?

This product is perfect for people who need lightweight product which is easy to carry around. If you enjoy creating videos for your own use or for your Youtube cannel (or another platform), if you are a photographer, or just want to take selfies (and not have to run back and forth after hitting the timer), this is your tripod.
