My name is Miguel. I'm from Madrid (Spain), and I've been practicing climbing for more than 15 years. This has been my passion and my way of understanding life since I tried my first climbing route for the first time in La Pedriza. Climbing has led me to explore wonderful places in different parts of the world (Patagonia, Morocco, Chile, Argentina, France, Spain, and Switzerland), where I have enjoyed the best walls ever; but I would definitely leave this in the background to talk about the most special part of climbing which is meeting people, cultures, and traveling with friends and family.
In addition to climbing, the mountains in general are also my passion. Enjoying a walk in the nature and feeling free from the hectic pace of the city life is something that always brings me back to these places.
I have also been skiing since I was very young. In addition to that, I am a Spanish teacher. In fact, teaching and creating didactic content is one of my greatest passions.
I have always liked teaching and also learning from my students, from a very young age. That is why my entire professional career has been channeled in this direction. I started as a canyoning instructor, ski instructor and climbing instructor. But later, I got a master’s degree in ELE and dedicated myself to teaching Spanish.
The mix of these different experiences have also led me to become a content creator on YouTube. Now I can combine my passion for teaching with the passion for creating content and enjoying mountains in my spare time as a hobby. I’d like to send a message to everyone who loves and enjoys these places: “Take care and respect the mountains, as well as what happens there!”
All this mix also led me to be a content creator on YouTube. Now I combine the passion for teaching with the passion for creating content and enjoy the mountain simply as a hobby. I'd like to say goodbye with a message for all people who love and enjoy these places: "Take care and respect the mountains, just like what happens there."
